Method of Defiance + GrandMixer DXT and Jazzy Jay

Bill Laswell's latest all-star aggregate, Method of Defiance, finds the bassist and producer digging deep into tubby roots reggae and crackling electronica in the company of vocalists Hawk and Dr. Israel, trumpeter Toshinori Kondo, keyboardist Bernie Worrell, drummer Guy Licata and DJ Krush. Joining the group in celebrating not one but two new discs is a jaw-dropping pair of legendary hip-hop DJs: GrandMixer DXT—formerly D.ST[only one point sic?], the guy who changed the world by scratching on Herbie Hancock's "Rockit"—and Jazzy Jay.
