Shellac fans, look alive—that band's bassist and sometime singer, Bob Weston, hits the ’Burg tonight as one third of the Martha's Vineyard Ferries, his collaboration with fellow indie-rock lifer Chris Brokaw and Kahoots guitarist Elisha Wiesner. As heard on last year's likable Mass. Grave, the trio specializes in tuneful, driving guitar pop with a hint of Shellac's loosey-goosey low-end wallop. Female-fronted Detroit garage-pop eccentrics Mexican Knives headline.
