Michael Monroe—real name Matti Antero Kristian Fagerholm—is best known for fronting the glammy Finnish outfit Hanoi Rocks, whose teased-hair-and-lacy-sleeve image made a big impression on aspiring American hair-metalists such as the members of Guns N' Roses. (Monroe would later collaborate with GNR in the studio.)
