"Milton Babbitt: In Memoriam"

The CUNY Graduate Center music department and the Composers' Alliance join forces to honor Milton Babbitt, the late figurehead of American modernist composition. Some of Babbitt's closest collaborators and finest interpreters—including flutist Patricia Spencer, guitarists Oren Fader and William Anderson, clarinetist Charles Neidich and soprano Judith Bettina—will be on hand for a program that spans the years from 1948 to 2006.
