Mintz Quintet

Underrated drum veteran Billy Mintz, whose 2013 full-length, Mintz Quartet, showed off his signature blend of avant-garde–leaning postbop and romantic balladry, leads a band featuring constant collaborator Roberta Piket at the keys, as well as saxists John O'Gallagher and Adam Kolker, and bassist Cameron Brown.
