Mobb Deep + Ghostface Killah + Black Thought and the Money Making Jam Boys

Mobb Deep, Prodigy’s two-decade-long partnership with MC-producer Havoc, rose to prominence with 1995’s monumental The Infamous, a pitch-perfect time capsule of youthful nihilism in Giuliani-era New York, and solidified its place at the forefront of East Coast rap with the equally vital Hell on Earth in the late ’90s. Now the duo hopes to release a self-titled LP independently in August: Havoc and Prodigy have recorded some 80 new songs together, Prodigy recently told TONY, including the already-leaked “Dog Shit” with Nas, and a track with Waka Flocka Flame. Rounding out this heavy rap bill are Wu mainstay Ghostface and Roots MC Black Thought.
