Monster Island Block Party

Williamsburg art-scene mecca Monster Island—longtime home to the men of Oneida, tons of practice spaces and a surf shop, for crissakes—stages a daylong farewell blowout. (The building sadly goes kaboom in November.) Expect art installations, a BBQ, DJs and a bunch of live music, including the aforementioned Oneida, noise-pop champs Vaz and many more.
