Myra Melford Residency

Pianist Myra Melford, a crafty original whose playing is filled with muscle, brains and poetic spark, invites a host of talented friends to join her at a six-night progressive-jazz feast. Highlights of the residency include duos with drummer Allison Miller (Mar 24 at 8pm), clarinetist Ben Goldberg (Mar 25 at 8pm) and multireedist Marthy Ehrlich (Mar 29 at 8pm), as well as appearances from compelling groups such as Be Bread Sextet (Mar 26 at 10pm), Same River Twice (Mar 27 at 8 and 10pm) and Snowy Egret (Mar 28 at 8 and 10pm).
