Nancy King and Fred Hersch

When West Coast singer Nancy King first appeared in this room in 2005, accompanied by pianist Fred Hersch, the music they made together created an indelible impression on all who attended—which included practically every jazz singer in New York City. Happily, Hersch rolled tape that night, and the results were issued on the MaxJazz label. The pair now reunites for a pair of shows where it all restarted.
