Nate Wooley Residency

Experimental VIP trumpeter Nate Wooley presides over a series of transportive avant-garde happenings at his weeklong residency at The Stone, including the premiere of his ominously-titled Psalms from Hell; collaborations with a regular sparring partner, the veteran free-improv percussionist Paul Lytton; and performances with his working quintet—including reedist Josh Sinton, vibraphonist Matt Moran, bassist Eivind Opsvik and drummer Harris Eisenstadt—of small-group works by Wynton Marsalis.
