The new-music series Music at First continues its streak of awesomeness tonight when Nathan Koci, best known as the French-horn player of Signal and Red Light New Music, unveils his other musical identity: accordionist. He'll premiere new works for accordion written and performed with some of his buddies, including songwriter Corey Dargel, bassist Eleonore Oppenheim and writer Meghan Deans. The second set belongs to the thrill-seeking MIVOS Quartet, which amps up electroacoustic works written especially for the ensemble by Tristan Perich, Samson Young, Richard Carrick and Wil Smith.
