Ned Rothenberg Trio + Francois Grillot Trio

Few local reed improvisers muster a sound so skillfully perched between tuneful sensuality and fearless abstraction as Ned Rothenberg. Tonight he plays a 10pm set alongside pianist Sylvie Courvoisier and trombonist Steve Swell. Up first at 8pm is bassist Francois Grillot's outfit with saxist Catherine Sikora and drummer David Miller.
