Neighborhood Watch, Part I

Zs saxist Sam Hillmer, a galvanic presence on the local avant-garde scene for a decade and counting, celebrates the imminent reboot of his Representing NYC initiative, which finds him mentoring aspiring Brooklyn hip-hop artists. Performing tonight are Indian Bastards from Hell (a Das Racist satellite), former Parts & Labor man Dan Friel, Hillmer's own Diamond Terrifier solo project and many more. Proceeds from the door benefit Representing NYC, as well as its future home, the soon-to-reopen Market Hotel.
