Neil Halstead

In the British band Slowdive, Neil Halstead helped define the ever-elusive shoegaze genre; following that band's demise, he joined other former Slowdivers in Mojave 3, a less-heralded, if longer-lasting, band that played straight-up country-tinged indie rock. His last solo disc, Oh! Mighty Engine, appeared in 2008, so expect to hear new material tonight.
