Neil Rolnick with ACME and Bob Gluck

Inventive, engaging electroacoustic composer Neil Rolnick celebrates the release of Extended Family, a new disc just out on the Innova label. Ethel plays the titular work on the CD; here, the string players of ACME do the honors. Pianist Bob Gluck is featured in Faith, a jazzy duet with Rolnick's electronics. Completing the program is MONO Prelude, an affable yet terrifying narrated electronic work in which Rolnick recounts the onset of permanent hearing loss in his left ear.
