Nels Cline Singers and ROVA: The Celestial Septet

Lanky avant-spaz guitarist Nels Cline, a jazzer who's made serious inroads into indie rock with Wilco in recent years, goes back to his roots in a sprawling, ecstatic collaboration between his working trio (no actual singers included) and the mighty Bay Area sax quartet Rova, as heard on their recent joint release on New World, The Celestial Septet.
