Local quartet New Beard does righteous garage-style prog-psych, with snaky riff moves cribbed from Zeppelin and the odd moment of folky repose. Also on the bill is Xenia Rubinos, who splits the difference between Tune-Yards–like vocal experimentation and jazz fusion.
