More than three decades after its first album, British postpunk band New Order is set to release its 10th album on September 25. The post–Joy Division group drew inspiration from New York's club scene, fusing alt-rock with dance music to create a new sound of its own—perhaps most renowned in the best-selling 12-inch single of all time, “Blue Monday.” New York fans will have the opportunity to listen to (as well as purchase) the new album in its entirety the day before its release at the official album release party, complete with DJ sets, New Order cocktails, giveaways and more. Be sure to arrive early, as capacity is limited.
