Yes, we're just as baffled and intrigued by this surprise-attack residency as you are. To be clear: These are not Prince shows. All the same, what we have here are six premium-priced gigs featuring members of the Purple One's trusty New Power Generation backing band, with "special surprise guests" promised nightly. We're tempted to say that if the man himself doesn't turn up during at least one of these sets, we'll be downright shocked. But again: No promises! You'll just have to roll the dice and see what comes up. Regardless, a fun and funky night is pretty much guaranteed.
