New Trio + Tomas Fujiwara & the Hook-Up + Ladinegral

The highly refined and sensitive drummer Tomas Fujiwara leads his own quintet, a band that marries postbop elegance to propulsive groove and subtle abstraction. Tonight the lineup includes saxist Brian Settles, trumpeter Jonathan Finlayson, guitarist Mary Halvorson and bassist Trevor Dunn. Fujiwara & Co. play at 9pm, bookended by an 8pm solo set from reedist Josh Sinton and a 10pm set featuring violist Frantz Loriot, bassist Sean Ali and drummer Carlo Costa.
