New World Symphony

Violin superstar Anne-Sophie Mutter continues her season at Carnegie with this explosive orchestra, conducted by another modern-music powerhouse, Michael Tilson Thomas. Together they'll rip into one of Mutter's best-loved modernist touchstones, Berg's Violin Concerto. Also on the program are works by Schubert, Debussy and a recent piece by Norbert Moret.
