Distinguished conductor Christoph von Dohnányi returns to the Philharmonic podium for the first of two programs. Opening with Jörg Widmann's perky, quirky Con brio, the concert also includes Schumann's Symphony No. 4 and Brahms's Piano Concerto No. 2 (with soloist Yefim Bronfman).
