Theater and film legend Christopher Plummer and maestro Alan Gilbert lead the orchestra, the Manhattan School of Music Symphonic Chorus and the American Boychoir into battle in Christopher Palmer's arrangement of Sir William Walton's intense score to the 1944 screen version of Shakespeare's Henry V, which starred Laurence Olivier. The Overture and Bacchanale from Wagner's Tannhaüser make for a bombastic appetizer.
