Time Out says

Master conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen leads the Philharmonic in Hungarian Echoes, a concert series featuring pioneering works by this part of the world's most famous musical heirlooms. The versatile Italian pianist Marino Formento, known for his insightful interpretations of modern composers, steps in to replace Pierre-Laurent Aimard and makes his New York Philharmonic debut playing Ligeti's jazzy, ambient Piano Concerto. Haydn's Symphony No. 6, "Le Matin," and Bartók's Concerto for Orchestra round out the first program.
