The "school" with which electronic composer and keyboardist Hallett is most closely associated is Darmstadt—not the severe German modernist enclave, mind, but rather the freewheeling New York performance series Hallett runs with fellow composer Zach Layton. Here the erudite experimentalist presents a collaboration with House of Yes resident singer Press. Afterward, ambient-electronic musician Rachika S airs songs from an upcoming release on local electronic imprint Loveless Records, Themes for a Film, originally written for the label's series of film screenings "re-scored" by electronic artists.
