Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds

Noel Gallagher—the brains behind Britpop heroes Oasis, for whatever that's worth—presents his solo venture, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. While brother Liam's band Beady Eye is basically Oasis sans Noel, the Birds include members of the Zutons and the Lemon Trees. In contrast to Liam's ploddy mod-pop venture, Noel's band offers rootsy, sometimes lush Americana on its self-titled debut.
