Nomo + Nat Baldwin

Time Out says

Nomo takes its grooves seriously. The Michigan ensemble starts with classic funk and Afrobeat and brings in elements of hip-hop and electronica, yielding the perfect contemporary party soundtrack. Opening is Nat Baldwin, whose weird warble and choice of instruments—he accompanies himself on upright bass, which he often plays arco—set him apart from the singer-songwriter pack, though you might already recognize him as a member of Dirty Projectors.
