North Mississippi Allstars are one of the better bands loosely tied to the jam world, with deep roots in blues and Americana. This proud sibling act—which features two sons of famed Memphis producer Jim Dickinson—plays with fluidity, not flashiness. Here, the band turns up in midtown to pay tribute to late guitar great and Iridium regular Les Paul, who would've celebrated his 100th birthday on June 9.
