Time Out says

Music website Pitchfork and its beer-focused spinoff October present their second annual pairing of bands and brews. The fest hits Governors Island with a two-day lineup of more than 20 acts, including the Flaming Lips, Vince Staples, Yo La Tengo, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Vagabon, Julie Byrne, Badbadnotgood, Saba, Standing on the Corner, Hatchie, Flasher, Girlpool, Hop Along, No Age and Kamaiyah. If the music alone isn't enough to lure you to Governors Island, the fest features beer from over 90 different breweries based near (Blue Point, Circa) and far (India's Bira 91, Germany's Aktien). The food, curated by Bon Appétit, includes such local standouts as Best Pizza, Sweet Chick, Oddfellows and Roberta's. Tickets include 15 beer samples per day (additional samples will run you $1.50 per 3oz pour). Come thirsty.
