Omar Souleyman + CSC Funk Band

Prolific Syrian singer Omar Souleyman's burgeoning global fame has been fueled by three Sublime Frequencies compilations, a hit YouTube video and a potent endorsement from Björk on NPR. In his second-ever New York appearance, in the courtyard outside of Issue Project Room, he shares the bill with an all-star avant-garde aggregate, made up of members from USAISAMONSTER, Talibam!, GWAR and other noted not-funk acts.
