One Hot Kitchen

The upstart Metropolis Opera Project mounts a new "opera-electronica" by local composers Kristin Hevner Wyatt and Daniel Wyatt, based on a play by David Caudle. Blending operatic arias with DJ-orchestrated beats, the show presents a snapshot of a Hell's Kitchen walk-up inhabited by an odd assortment of characters.
