How do you celebrate the completion of a conceptual trilogy? If you're the hardy explorers of Brooklyn avant-rock outfit Oneida, you throw a weekend-long party and play all three albums start-to-finish. The band plays through Preteen Weaponry and Rated O on Fri 17, but the real fun starts on Sat 18, when a 10-hour improv session with light show and potluck dinner culminates in a dawn performance of the new Absolute II, followed by a pancake breakfast. Sweet!
