Orchestra of the League of Composers

The OLC finishes up the season with a big exclamation point. Louis Karchin conducts world premieres by Arthur Kreiger, David Rakowski and Missy Mazzoli, as well as the U.S. premiere of Shulamit Ran's Silent Voices. Clarinetist Virgil Blackwell takes on Elliott Carter's Concertino for Bass Clarinet and Chamber Orchestra, and interviews with the composers by WNYC's John Schaefer provide added insight to each piece.
