Orquesta Sarabia

Percussionist and composer Roberto Rodriguez is well-known for thumbing his nose at geographical boundaries in music, as heard on his previous Cuban-Jewish mash-up, Baila! Gitano Baila! Rodriguez's promising new ensemble starts where that project left off, going on to pay homage to Algerian dance-music greats and to downtown NYC patron saint John Zorn.
