This multiroom dance club was hailed as the savior of NYC nightlife even before it opened in 2013. Since then, it has provided reliable house- and techno-heavy bookings and a general lack of bottle-service inanity, along with a great sound system and firm commitment to the underground. In addition to the main space, the club often features music in its Panther Room and rooftop bar.

If you're looking for a club in Brooklyn, put Output at the top of your list. There's a $25 cover so make sure you're ready for that. Tell yourself it's a rare occurrence and someone will buy you a drink to make up for it. The drinks can be pricey but the whole experience kind of makes it worth it. So much dancing. Everyone is on the same level and it seems like there are fog machines everywhere, which sounds overwhelming but it's pretty fun. There are multiple levels to the club, each one has a different vibe. The rooftop is probably the best part. It's like the trendy garden you wish you had in your backyard. It's the perfect spot to chill in between all of the dancing, plus the view is ridiculous. If you go on a Sunday during the day you can witness an amazing sunset.

Very "sceney" spot in Williamsburg. Drinks are super pricey. But they have some delicious frozen drinks. Not the strongest though considering the price. Beautiful view of Manhattan. Most people there had accents - seems touristy. Fun thing to do during a nice day if you're looking for a rooftop spot. Lots of seating. Had to pay a cover. Go for a solid insta post

I came here on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend for a day party expecting it to be packed, to my great delight it wasn't. There was no line outside and cover was $25. Which is not too bad for the 'infamous output'. I do have a few qualms though. 1) The bathroom situation is less than ideal, the lines are long and the management of the lines is not very good. 2) The drinks are outrageous, granted this is New York City and everything is expensive but for a $25 cover you should maybe get a drink or two for free? However, they did have food and there was plenty of seating. Overall two thumbs up from me!

A great night out! Incredible rooftop with views of the Empire State and Midtown with a full on club below playing all the tunes. Also a great day to night venue because of the rooftop and drinks weren't too expensive either, in comparison to other areas such as the Wythe Hotel next door.

Ah... The Funktion-One! What more can I say? But really, the sound is impeccable. World-class DJs every week. It can be a little overwhelming on a Friday or Saturday night, but there are also plenty of weekday shindigs (Thursdays are always fun), and the Panther Room can be a great place to catch some local talent on the best sound-system in the world.
