Overlord, the sweet indie-pop combo based in Brooklyn (not to be confused with a myriad of metal powerhouses with the same name), sets presents its clever, Magnetic Fields–esque ditties. Also on board are local mainstays MiniBoone, whose twitchy postpunk is part yearning and part quirky.
