Overseas + Strand of Oaks

Erstwhile Pedro the Lion singer David Bazan has a likably frayed voice, and tonight, he presents his new combo, Overseas, which also includes South San Gabriel/Centro-Matic singer Will Johnson in its ranks. You'll likely hear tracks from the band's new, slightly ploddy self-titled debut at these two shows. Support comes from Philly songsmith Timothy Showalter, offering artful, archaic indie folk under the Strand of Oaks moniker.
