As the elder member of this recently formed collective, veteran bassist Dave Holland has commanded the lion's share of attention for its doings. But even with Holland called away on personal business at the last minute, you know that tenorist Chris Potter, pianist Jason Moran, drummer Eric Harland and guest bassman Larry Grenadier will break plenty of new ground here.
