Phife Dawg + b.FUNK

Michael Rapaport's moving, funny, fascinating documentary movie Beats Rhymes & Life: The Travels of a Tribe Called Quest made an unlikely hero out of Tribe MC Phife Dawg. Unlikely, because Phife was often cast as the underdog (or underdawg) to Q-Tip's charismatic leading man; but heroic because of the way he articulates the difficulties he's faced over the years. Tonight expect to hear old hits plus tracks from forthcoming album, Songs in the Key of Phife. Yeah, we think it's a cool title too.
