The hard-rock band Powerman 5000, fronted by Spider One, a.k.a. Rob Zombie's li'l bro, cemented its place in late-'90s lore with its single "When Worlds Collide," which was memorably featured on the soundtrack for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and other games. The group is back with a new album, Builders of the Future. (Hed) P.E., a Cali band whose chest-thumping mosh soundtrack registers as a tediously eclectic riff on Biohazard-style metalcore, opens.
