Public Service Broadcasting creates sample-heavy soundscapes using live guitar, drums and synths—and sometimes even brass or banjo. For vocals, the group's pseudonymous mastermind J. Willgoose, Esq. mines old radio broadcasts, public-service announcements and crackly archived speeches, and adds projections of vintage footage live. Here the group supports its second LP, The Race for Space.
