Rabit + Moor Mother

An electronic deconstructionist in the vein of contemporaries Arca and Lotic, Houston-based producer Rabit makes a fractured, erratic version of grime from barrages of mechanical percussion and earthquaking sub-bass. Opening artist Moor Mother (born Camae Defstar) is indie label Don Giovanni's most captivating new signee and makes simiarly adventurous tunes, collaging field recordings, analog sequencers and distorted drum machine into witchy lo-fi "dark rap."
