Wipe that smirk off your face and check into Ratt’s new album, Infestation, a Roadrunner release that reunites all the core members of the glam-metal band that struck ’80s paydirt with “Round and Round.” Nothing here is quite that infectious, but the grooves are hard, the riffs are sharp and Steven Pearcy’s voice retains all of its caustic charm.
