The Knitting Factory hosts a fun three-night covers series, featuring live performances of entire albums: The Thu July 9 show features Bowie’s Hunky Dory and the Beatles’ Magical Mystery Tour, performed by Marco Benevento and the Primate Fiasco, respectively. The Fri 10 bill will have Morphine’s Cure for Pain, the Cardigans’ First Band on the Moon and Neutral Milk Hotel’s In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, performed by Travis Morrison, Emilyn Brodsky and Dan Neustadt, respectively. The series closes Sat 11 with the Sons & Heirs performing the Smiths’ The Queen Is Dead and Underground System rocking Talking Heads’ Remain in Light.
