Red Baraat

Red Baraat—said to be the first Indian marching band in the United States—is a live-wire group that explores the exuberant Punjabi wedding-band tradition, as well as Bollywood classics and original tunes. Frontman Sunny Jain brings the South-Asian sounds down to Brooklyn for a festive, free show at Prospect Park titled "Mela” (the Sanskrit word for “gathering” or “festival”).
