Kickstarter has funded more intriguing projects over the past few years than just that $50,000 potato salad—for instance, ’70s prog rock institutition Renaissance’s latest release, Symphony of Light. Dedicated to the recently deceased core member Michael Dunford, the album features the group's signature mix of symphonic influences with lush arrangements and spectacular musicianship.
