Slyly provocative antifolk singer-songwriter-activist Fishback revisits a few songs from his exceptional 2012 musical, The Material World—about socialist Jews in the 1920s who share a house with Madonna, Britney Spears and a modern gay slacktivist—and shares selections from its upcoming sequel, which interrogates the Israeli-Palestinian crisis.
