Robert Fripp

King Crimson linchpin Robert Fripp returns to town for a pair of solo dates devoted to soundscapes. The apotheosis of Frippertronics, the guitar-and-tape-recorders system Fripp used in the ’80s, soundscapes find this restless artist fashioning vast cathedrals of sound using racks of effects and pedals en masse. Fripp's glorious noise works especially well in sonorous spaces like the Winter Garden.
