Few performers have managed to fuse soul-soaked mainstream jazz and booty-bumping hip-hop grooves as convincingly as Robert Glasper did on his most recent CD, Black Radio. Makes perfect sense to see him and his hot band throwing down in a club where instrumental prowess and verbal skill regularly joust for attention.
