Rose & the Nightingale + Maria Neckam

Cellist-vocalist Jody Redhage, leader of the quartet Rose & the Nightingale, explores that hard-to-define region between contemporary chamber music and folky indie rock. Here the group celebrates a new Sunnyside full-length, Spirit of the Garden. Also on the bill is Austria-born, Brooklyn-based singer Maria Neckam, whose work touches on torchy crooning, chamber-style art song, rootsy folk-pop and proggish intricacy.
